As you may be aware, James Street Family Practice is part of a group of four GP practices known as Meridian Medical Primary Care Network (PCN), who all work together to improve the health and wellbeing of over 30,000 people in Louth, Woodhall Spa, Tetford, North Somercotes and Manby.
We currently offer an Enhanced Access service where routine appointments are available outside of the practices core opening hours of Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.30pm.
We currently provide 50% of our Enhanced Access service from County Hospital Louth where patients can access appointments Monday to Friday from 6.30pm – 8.00pm and 9am – 5pm on Saturdays. The remaining 50% of these appointments are provided from each GP practice within the Meridian Medical Primary Care Network.
We would like to announce that we have submitted proposals to NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to relocate the Enhanced Access service we provide from County Hospital Louth to the Greta Ross clinic at East Lindsey Medical Group in Louth.
The Greta Ross clinic is approximately one mile from County Hospital, Louth, and has adequate parking available at the times in which the service would be open. The service would continue to offer the same range of appointments, albeit from a different location.
The PCN is proposing to move the service to a GP practice location, rather than a community hospital site.
As part of the process, we have launched an engagement exercise so we can gather feedback from patients on our proposal. The exercise will run until midnight on Sunday 10 September 2023.
You can do this as follows:

PLEASE NOTE:
In addition to the appointments currently offered from Woldside, Enhanced Access appointments are also available from each GP practice within Meridian Medical PCN. These appointments will continue as they are and are not included as part of this process.
